Great Books Summer Reading Programs for Students

Summer 2017 Sessions Announced!

We're excited to share the program dates for Great Books 2017. It's going to be another incredible summer of Great Books and Big Ideas on the campuses of Stanford University, Amherst College, the University of Oxford, and Trinity College in Dublin.

We are especially pleased to announce the addition of two new campuses at world-renowned universities for 2017: Stanford Center at Peking University and the University of Chicago!

Nominate Your Students.

Great Books is a program for your intellectually curious students and avid readers who love to ask questions and engage in healthy debate. Students who attend Great Books gain exposure to critical texts and have the opportunity to explore big ideas with other talented peers. Please consider nominating your readers and thinkers, and give them the opportunity of a lifetime. We will send a program brochure to you for each student you nominate so that they can take them home to share with their families.
