Calling Missouri high school social studies educators!

The Missouri Humanities Council and the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy invite Missouri's high school social studies educators to join us for a summer conference in Columbia, MO from June 12 - 14, 2018. SPACE IS LIMITED!  

The conference will be organized around the theme, "Missouri's Struggle for Statehood" and will provide teachers with a chance to study landmark events in the state's history alongside MU Professors of Law, Political Science, Education, and History, and other invited scholars from around the region and nation.

ALL conference participants' expenses will be covered, but SPACE IS LIMITED! That includes lodging, breakfast and dinner each day, materials, and a stipend to offset travel and other costs related to attending.

-Brief statement concerning how the nominee would benefit from exploring this rich topic.

*Teachers can be nominated or send-in a self-nomination.
