Virtual Discussion over "Against the Grain: A Deep History of the Earliest States"
As MOCHE continues our work in exploring hard history and improving the pedagogical approach to these topics in our schools and public history spaces, we have chosen James C. Scott’s Against the Grain: A Deep History of the Earliest States for our fall 2020 virtual book discussion series. Please see the three dates below and complete this Google Form if you would like to attend any or all evenings. Membership in MOCHE is not required; we encourage all who would like to join us to attend.
Introduction to Chapter 2: Wednesday, September 23rd @ 7pm
