MOCHE develops Classroom Resources for Grade School Teachers

The Missouri Council for History Education announces their partnership with the State Historical Society of Missouri and the Missouri Humanities Council to celebrate our state's bicentennial and provide classroom teachers with materials that they can incorporate to improve student understanding of our state's unique history.

Authors, Dr. Gary McKiddy, past president of MOCHE, and Francine Davis, past secretary of MOCHE developed a series lesson plans for elementary school teachers to use in their classrooms. These lessons are free to the public and can be modified by the instructor to fits the needs of his/her students.
